When I entered college and was told I "yes, you have to
pick a major," I thought Advertising sounded fun and exciting—after
all, it was the 70's and college was all about having fun, right?
Four years later, with a BA in Communications (Advertising),
I interned at a top Advertising agency in Seattle. By the time
the internship ended I realized that working in an Ad agency
was not what I wanted to do with my life, so I entered the uncreative
world of banking where I remained for many years.
In the late 80's I wandered back to my creative side when I
took a job editing and publishing newsletters, brochures and
manuals.
By the mid-90's I found myself in the non-profit, fund-raising
world as the Foundation Director for a local hospital. It was
in that capacity that I began my relationship with WinSome Design.
I joined WinSome Design in April of 2004 at the insistence
of my good friend, Jane
(aka Queen Diva). I am now blessed to work somewhere that allows
me the opportunity to enhance my computer skills and creative
skills all at the same time (and to work on both a Mac and a
PC—cool!)! My inner Diva has now reappeared (she'd
been in hiding since the 70's).

A
few of my favorite things...
The power of gemstones and aromatherapy.
Reading a good book (now why would anyone want to read
a bad book?), "Google-ing",
watching DVD's and making jewelry.

Six Days, Seven Nights, my all-time favorite movie.

My inspiration is found in…sunshine, dark chocolate,
and my favorite music.
Can be bribed with: Dove dark chocolate, Dark Chocolate
Cashew Clusters from The Sweet Palace, in Montana, and gemstones
(below are a few favorites). If you insist, I'll also accept money
(100's will do).
Turquoise
is a master healer stone that promotes honest and
clear communication from the heart. It protects
against pollution in the environment and is a very
personal and meaningful stone to one who wears it—taking
on the characteristics of the owner.
Amazonite
enhances creative expression, intuition, psychic
powers, creativity, intellect, and psychic ability.
It can lessen stress by calming and building self-esteem.
Amazonite can assist with peacefully making the
transition out of this life.
Malachite
has been used to aid success in business and protect
against undesirable business associations. Malachite
is the 'mirror of the soul'. It reaches the inner
feelings of the person and reflects what is there—negative
or positive.
Watermelon Tourmaline
offers strong healing effects, attracts love, and
removes imbalances caused by conflicts and confusions.
The green part feeds your life force, while the
pink soothes and harmonizes.
