The Reach
Following is just one example of many that shows our ability
to consistently build and extend a client's brand in the
marketplace.
For our client, The Reach—Gateway to the Hanford Reach
National Monument, we were hired to help develop and promote
awareness of the new interpretive center currently under
construction at Columbia Point South in Richland, Washington.
Working closely with Riverside Consulting, the Project
Manager overseeing design, development, construction and
fund raising
for the interpretive center, WinSome Design was able to
quickly create a series of rich, colorful marketing materials
to
extend The Reach brand.
Our design experience combined with a vast knowledge of
products allowed us to create newsletters, unique program
materials, print collateral and the web to further brand The
Reach in the marketplace. Highlighted projects here include
stationery; a full color fold-out brochure with inserts; an
Introduction Book that includes renderings of the interpretive
center and digital images of the exhibit designs; and an introductory
website.

Media kits with educational materials were developed
to further educate Board members and the community about the
project. An embossed presentation folder holds monthly newsletters;
a comprehensive quick-fact sheet; "Did You Know"
rack cards designed to give small glimpses of unique project
details; and an Annual Report of Growth and Progress.
Community presentations to local and regional stakeholders
necessitated the creation of a traveling display system and
a customizable PowerPoint presentation. As a result, these
materials have allowed The Reach to make presentations to
further educate the public, resulting in increased funding
for the project. All of the projects seen here, in addition
to many others for The Reach, were created in less than nine
months.

WinSome Design is expert at extending image
and brand for the clients we serve. We mix existing content
with our design abilities to meet the goal of the project
and formulate products to present companies at their best.
In the case of The Reach, they had only a logo, renderings
and exhibit images to build from. The Communications Director
for The Reach—a writer by trade—along with a gifted
local photographer with extensive knowledge of the National
Monument, worked closely with us to build consistent, easily
recognized visuals that resulted in beautiful presentation
pieces.
In the two years that we worked with The Reach,
we designed and produced more than 50 printed and internet
pieces that set the tone and created the mood for this incredible
community project.
